The Highlands Ranch Library is located within the Highlands Ranch Town Center, this community’s central retail and service hub.
The library features a large, beautifully-decorated children’s room with an extensive collection for both kids and parents. Highlands Ranch Library also houses Douglas County Libraries’ most in-depth business collection, with expert onsite reference service.
Public meeting rooms include two large rooms on the first floor and four small study rooms on the second floor. There is also a well-appointed quiet reading room with beautiful mountain views.

Bookbusters Book Club
Where: Highlands Ranch at Shea A
Children to early teen (grades 5th-8th) book group. Book group runs September through May. Registration required and must go through the Highlands Ranch Children's Dept. Staff.
Great Decisions - evening group
Where: Highlands Ranch
This is the longest running civic education program in the U.S. devoted to foreign affairs. Participants will read selected articles and meet to discuss those topics. Registration is required and it is inclusive for all 8 sessions - no drop-ins and no single sessions.

A Twist in the Tale Stories for Adults

A Twist in the Tale - stories to get you through the week - is the new story time for adults. It takes place the second Wednesday of every month from 7-8pm in the Reading Lounge on the second floor. Come enjoy readings by staff of short stories, poems, from funny to mystery to the unforgettable. No registration.
Great Books Discussion Group
Where: Highlands Ranch
Great Books discussion groups are forums for thoughtful adults to read and discuss significant works of fiction, philosophy, political science, poetry, and drama. Meetings 2/11 and 3/11 and 5/13 will be held in Shea B Downstairs. The rest will be in the Quiet Reading room upstairs.

Understand what you need to consider to start a profitable business. Learn the basic requirements including registration requirements, finding financing, and business planning.
"Practice Your English" No Class today

An opportunity to practice your English as a second language skills. Just drop in upstairs at the Highlands Ranch Library upstairs. No registration necessary. Class will not meet on the weekends next to a Friday or Monday holiday.
Wine, Chocolate and an Evening with Christopher Bohjalian
