Allen Thornton, Photographer
Among artists, collectors and critics, the debate continues about whether photography is indeed fine art. Photography becomes fine art when the photographer stops simply capturing images and starts creating them.
Almost anyone can capture, refine and print a technically high quality image, but that alone is rarely fine art. The artful image contains imagination, foresight, forceful composition and originality.
For additional artwork, visit the artist at: www.allenthornton.org. His exhibit will be on display through September.
