EVENTS at Roxborough
Trained staff provide four weekly Storytimes for kids of all ages, including one evening and one weekend. Other offerings at Roxborough include book clubs for adults, Bark for Books (kids reading to trained canine volunteers), and occasional cooking, gardening and author programs.
Thomas Cooper's images are diverse, poignant and unforgettable. A professional photojournalist for more than 20 years, capturing such unforgettable news events as Columbine and the Hayman Fire, Tom has made photography his career, adventure, passion and contribution. Through his art, he seeks to preserve precious parts of the world that are fast disappearing.
Tom has an instinctive sense of timing and willingness to push boundaries in pursuit of an image. The result is a string of awards attesting to his ability to capture news, wildlife, fashion, commercial projects, intimate weddings, and famous people.
Tom's work has been featured in over 30 publications in the U.S., including The New York Times, Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine, as well as numerous international publications.
His exhibit runs throughout the month of May.
