Heather Ernst's Paintings

Heather W. Ernst is an acrylic painter whose career as an architect and background in sculpture and line drawing has contributed to the impact of her work. Her passion is the simplicity of expressing feelings so intense they have no real object attached to them; no building, no land site, only vibrant color with strong, thickset texture.

When not painting, Heather rotates numerous activities including book writing and illustration, hiking, cycling, gardening, yoga, woodwork, ceramic tile and needle work, and yes, a bit of race car driving, trap shooting, and skiing. She lives with her husband, and young son in Roxborough.

Heather's paintings will be on display until July 31st.
