Located in the heart of the Roxborough community, Douglas County Libraries in Roxborough provides a full range of services in a light-filled space overlooking Colorado’s Front Range. Cheery surroundings encompass the latest popular materials, free Wi-Fi access, quiet reading spaces, and friendly, professional staff.
Many items in the Roxborough collection circulate only to guests who visit the library in Roxborough (they don’t fill holds for guests at other library locations). See Fines, Fees & Borrowing for more information.
EVENTS at Roxborough
Trained staff provide four weekly Storytimes for kids of all ages, including one evening and one weekend. Other offerings at Roxborough include book clubs for adults, Bark for Books (kids reading to trained canine volunteers), and occasional cooking, gardening and author programs.
On exhibit throughout March is the wildlife and landscape photography of Paul Brown.
Paul Brown was raised in New York City and spent 25 years working in the engineering industry. While he was at college, a friend introduced him to photography. Brown's career brought him to Colorado in the late 1990s, and the natural beauty of the Rockies drew him into the world of landscape and wildlife photography. After spending the last few decades outdoors with a camera whenever time away from work allows, he decided to start a photography business and share some of his photography with the public.
Brown is currently showing his images at several galleries in the Denver area.
