6th Annual JURIED Romancing the ARTS Exhibit

The Greater Castle Rock Art Guild is presenting its sixth annual juried showcase for local Front Range artists. Well respected judges and great cash prizes make this a wonderful venue for artists of all kinds. A tradition begun last year continues with the judges critiquing the winning entries and explaining the process behind their decisions. This insight behind the jury process is invaluable for all artists whether participants or not. The critique walk will take place during the Artist Reception on February 12, 2010.

To receive an entry form for the 6th Annual JURIED Romancing the ARTS Exhibit and Sale, please contact event chair Nadine Partridge at peartree11@msn.com. This show is open to any artist, 18 years or older, residing along the Front Range of Colorado. The deadline for entries is December 1, 2009.

All accepted art must be delivered to the Philip S. Miller library, 100 S. Wilcox St. in Castle Rock, on February 2, 2010. The exhibit runs from February 2nd through March 11th, 2010 at the library guaranteeing a wide audience. One Thousand dollars or more in cash prizes will be awarded including $500.00 Best of Show, $300.00 1st, $200.00 2nd and $100.00 3rd. There will be an Artist Reception on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Please check the entry forms for full details.
