DC Boards and Commissions

Boards and commissions in Douglas County take on one of two different forms: Government boards and citizen advisory boards.

Government boards include the Board of County Commissioners, composed of elected officials, and the Planning Commission, comprised of nominated members.

Citizen advisory boards rely on residents to provide their experience and expertise. The responsibilities, terms, membership size, appointment and meeting schedules vary for each board and commission.
