Great Books Discussions

Douglas County Libraries currently sponsors Great Books Discussion Groups at four libraries.

More than fifty years ago, the Great Books Movement started at the University of Chicago with the idea that ordinary people could meet and discuss the enduring ideas and issues found in classic writings. The Great Books Foundation promotes reading and conversation about great literature through discussion groups.
