Through a variety of outreach programs, the Douglas County Libraries can bring its reference services to your business, club, school, senior center, or childcare center.
- Spellbinders are adults, 50 and up, who stay young at heart by sharing their stories with children in Douglas County Schools. The Douglas County Chapter of Spellbinders is a collaborative partnership between Douglas County Libraries and Douglas County School District.
- The Book Start Early Literacy Program is an inter-generational project that brings quality literature to children in childcare centers throughout Douglas County.
- BizInfo pairs entrepreneurs with specially-trained business librarians who can come to your meeting to help with the research needed to be successful. This service can provide targeted assistance with market research, competitive intelligence, marketing lists, and industry trends for established businesses. For entrepreneurs with a new idea, BizInfo librarians can help find sample business plans and other start-up information.
- Douglas County History Research Center archivists can come to your group or organization to provide historic and genealogical information and presentations about Douglas County.
