    Join our new multicultural program for adults!

    Cafecito Amigo, a new multicultural participatory program with Douglas County Libraries, will hold its Fall program of 2014 on September 9 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the Parker branch. The theme of the Fall Cafecito will be “The Expressions of Cultures through Traditional and not so traditional Arts and Crafts.”

    Cafecito Amigo, which translates to “Friendly Coffee,” aims to bring together both native English Speakers and English Language Learners who are interested in learning about the culturally and linguistically diverse individuals who are our neighbors.

    Douglas County Libraries now subscribes to World Vital Records, a genealogy resource available from home with billions (!) of family history and genealogy records, family trees, U.S. Census records from 1790 to 1940, along with military records, newspaper articles, and more.
