Cafecito Amigo – Food, Folklore, and Friends
Cafecito Amigo, a multicultural and participatory program with Douglas County Libraries, seeks recipes and stories from all different cultures. We welcome everyone from English Language Learners to those who have been in the US for generations to get to know one another and share recipes and stories! The program is intended mainly for an adult audience, but families with children are welcome!
Cafecito Amigo will hold its winter program of 2014 on December 9 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock. Dates in 2015 will also be held in Parker and Highlands Ranch. Participants are invited to bring in a recipe and or story about food to share with others. If you do not have a recipe or a story in mind, please come just for the conversation and light snacks, including chips and Salsa from La Casita in Parker! Everybody eats and makes new friends!
