Great Books Discussion Groups
Douglas County Libraries currently sponsors Great Books Discussion Groups at three libraries:
Booksharers Club--Parker Library
Booksharers meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at noon at the Parker library. Staff and patrons share books that they have read. It's a general open discussion. All are invited.
Youth Book Clubs--Parker Library
Mother & Daughter Book Club: Girls 8-12 years old with their moms. Contact library for future sessions.
Animal Tales: For animal lovers ages 9-14. Contact the library for information about the next five-week session.
Twenty Mile Book Club--Parker Library
Meets monthly, the 4th Wednesday at 9:30am. Call the Parker Library at 303-791-READ for details.

Practice Your English
Where: Parker at Parker Conference Room
The focus of the "Practice Your English" groups is to boost English skills for foreign language speakers ages seventeen and older by focusing on everyday interests and informal conversation topics. A facilitator will provide support to group members.
GED Preparation Class

This is a free class to help you prepare to take the GED test.
