The mission of the DCECC is to foster and promote a comprehensive, high quality, and responsive system of early childhood services and supports for families with children prenatal to age eight. We are composed of representatives from DC Human Servies, DC School District, DC Libraries, DC Parent As Teachers, Tri County Health Department, Child Care Innovations, Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health, Arapahoe Community College, and more. We strive to collaborate and partner on various projects and ongoing programs that improve lives for young children. We coordinate professional development opportunities for child care providers and parenting education. All are welcome to attend our quarterly membership meeting. Working with artists and art lovers, our mission is to create a vibrant arts community with an atmosphere and art market to benefit the business, cultural and art communities of the Greater Castle Rock area. The guild has grown to over 200 members since August 2006. Everyone is committed to working with merchants and the community to create art-related events that will promote tourism through the arts as well as provide support, education and networking opportunities for its members. The guild became a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit in June 2007.

Tails 'n Twine Inc. Equine Sanctuary

We are committed to embracing the unwanted equine and providing them permanent shelter, care and love! Within the herd are horses with previous nutritional deficits, lameness issues and incompatibilities with their previous owners. Contributions are needed to help with horse feed, ferrier work, vet bills and deworming. Volunteers are welcome to help with various needs, including horse care, barn and pasture maintenance and other skilled jobs. Visitors are welcomed! Please call for a time.
