Book Start Early Literacy ProgramShare the love of reading with a child!

Volunteers get two-hours of specialized training at Philip S. Miller Library, Castle Rock, and are placed with local childcare centers and begin reading! Training is held from 9:30 a.m. to Noon, the third Wednesday of each month, starting in January.

Adventure Pass for Fun and Learning

Adventure PassPeople have found adventure in our books for years. Now we're bringing you a new kind of adventure!

Douglas County Libraries now offers library card holders Adventure Pass: free passes to Denver Firefighters Museum, the History Colorado Center, Dinosaur Ridge, and the Butterfly Pavilion.  You may reserve and print passes from your own computer up to 30 days before your visit.
