Consumer Behavior and its Impact on the U.S. Economy

Most people don't tie their behaviors as consumers to what's happening in the economy. Yet we absorb thousands of messages and make hundreds of decisions each week. As part of our Social Science Series, author and economist Jack Buffington breaks down how we as consumers have transformed and can change the future of our economy.

Jack's current research is focused on manufacturing and the U.S. economy, the state of the U.S. economy and what's next, and consumer behavior and its impact on the U.S. economy.

At the beginning of the new year, you were determined to start working on your family history. Now it’s almost spring and you’ve yet to open that box in the basement. You know the one: it’s where you’ve stashed the photos, census records and notes your mom left you about your great-grandfather and his journey to America.

The expiration date on all your excuses is finally here. Highlands Ranch Library will help you get your records and story straight in four Saturdays beginning March 20.
