Discover Local Artists

Call to Artist Douglas County Libraries supports local art and artists by donating display space to a different artist each month.

Artists wishing to show their work at Douglas County Libraries may submit requests to the staff members listed below. Artists must be 18 years of age or older; artists under the age of 18 may submit their works through their school’s art program.

Artists must submit 5-10 images of their works in one of the following ways: digital photos or a link to an artist’s website via email, or prints or a CD mailed to the desired branch location. Art guilds and societies may submit a single group application.

Come enjoy light refreshments as you listen to local authors talk about their books! The authors presenting include: Cathy Horvath, Justina Prima, Jamie Ward, Katlyn Charlesworth, Russell Chihoski, Elizabeth Van Ingen, Levi Noe, Rachel Kodanaz, Laurie Weiss, Pat Dolan and Lisa J. Schuster. Registration is required.
